EWM-PP:
This piece of integration is based on business requirement to perform the manufacturing within EWM/Non EWM managed locations. Based on that, there can be Advanced Production Integration with PMR based solutions or it can be a hybrid setup of both EWM and IM managed solutions. In either of the situations we have in depth knowledge of implementing and delivering quality solutions.
EWM-QM
The quality management integration with EWM is based on rule based mechanism where you have predefined inspection types with certain exceptions. The integration is based on movement of stock types after the quality inspection is performed within EWM. There are scenarios of inspection at the time of goods receipt, customer returns, internal manufacturing with quality control etc.
EWM-TM (Both direct and indirect)
EWM-TM Indirect integration: Generally, an older concept of integration, but it works well with organizations who doesn't want to disturb the existing process flows while implementing the TM solution. More of a decentralized structure
EWM-TM Direct integration: This is a newer integration in the S4 HANA embedded landscape. TM system after planning the freight and package building activities, interacts directly with EWM through transportation unit creation and automatically attaches with the ODO. Lots of status exchange happens directly at different intervals between TM and EWM.
Standalone decentralized EWM with other third party decentralized legacy warehouses
Minimal documents in S4 HANA with most of the activities happening outside SAP. EWM will act as book of records. The Inbound and Outbound deliveries created within S4 landscape gets distributed to the connected legacy warehouses through IDOC and BAPI.
EWM – 3PL/4PL
Integration of EWM with external Logistics providers can be achieved with Customer Stock, Vendor Consignment stock and Third Party Sales order stock. Our teams expertise comes in very handy when dealing with such kind of exception scenarios.
EWM-EDI/ASN
EWM has a very strong integration with Inbound ASN and outbound EDI messages. This helps receiving early notifications, arrange space within a warehouse for the receipts, reduce time and effort, effective interaction with customers electronically. Messages can be received and sent through triggers.
